Noel Gallagher Surprises Diners At Birmingham Balti House













Diners at a Birmingham balti house were given a surprise taste of celebrity stardom when Oasis and High Flying Birds star Noel Gallagher popped in for a curry.

The guitarist and song-writer was in Birmingham on Sunday night after performing at the T in the Park Festival in Scotland on Saturday.

His party of eight called in to the Kababish Restaurant in Moseley - which has previously hosted Muhammad Ali - at around 8.30pm.
















Although the restaurant was quiet at the time, owner Saj Shafique said it wasn't long until news of Gallagher's appearance filtered through to the Patrick Kavanagh pub next door.

Mr Shafique, who had his picture taken with the rock star, said: "Noel's got this reputation of being a bit grumpy but he wasn't like that at all.

"A few of the guests in the restaurant and some of the people from the pub next door were mingling about to try and get a photo with him.

"He was just one of the lads and spent a few minutes posing with people for the small crowd."

Gallagher, whose Oasis Jug of Ale 1994 gig features in the Birmingham Mail's top ten best ever Birmingham gigs - ordered a Balti Mix Jalfrezi.

His party stayed at the restaurant until about 11pm.

Farooq Mohammed, one of the partner's who own the restaurant, added: "Noel called ahead to let us know he was coming so we could make some arrangements for him.

"He was a really nice guy and had a chat with some of the staff when he went out for a cigarette.

"Apparently Kerrang Radio recommended that he tried us and we were obviously delighted to host him."

Gallagher's appearance in Moseley comes just two week's after Hollywood star Brad Pitt was spotted a few miles down the road in Hall Green.

AISSEE Exam Pattern Syllabus Papers BooksThis blog article of mine follows an earlier blog post titled: AISSEE 2013 Notification, Form & Eligibility which introduces you to the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) and tells you how to apply for the same. Focus of this article is on how to prepare for Sainik School Entrance Exam - it at first discusses about the pattern of exam and than goes on to point you to the sources of online sample papers as well as prep books for AISSEE.

Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) Pattern & Syllabus:
All India Sainik School Entrance Exam is conducted for admissions to two classes - Class-VI & Class-IX. No specific syllabus for AISSEE has been prescribed. The standard of exam for class VI would be equivalent to the standard of V and for class IX would be equivalent to standard of VIII of CBSE.

Pattern of Exam for AISSEE Class-VI:
AISSEE Exam Pattern Class VI
There are two papers with three test sections: Maths, Language Ability & Intelligence Test - each weighing 100 marks. 10 minutes extra time for reading the instructions & Model answers in Paper-II (Intelligence Test). You can appear in the exam either in English, Hindi or local language of that state.

Pattern of Exam for AISSEE Class-IX:
AISSEE Exam Pattern Class IX
There are two papers with four test sections: Maths, General Science, English & Social Studies for a total of 450 marks. You have to appear in the exam only in English. You can find the test section-wise break-up of marks and duration in the table at left.

Following the written test for both Class-VI & Class-IX, on being shortlisted, you have to appear in Interview, which consists of 50 marks.

Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) Papers:
You can obtain the previous years exam papers of Sainik School Entrance Exam from the Sainik Schools by paying a small fee of around Rs. 50 to Rs. 100/=. I am also giving below some sample/previous years exam papers of  All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) in pdf format:
